Let me post first that my experience wrapping up my uncle's estate in Athens, Greece would have taken much longer and been much more expensive if I did not have a reliable contact (close trusted friend of my uncle's) who personally accompanied me, translated (documents too), steered me to the right public and private entities, etc. and generally made the experience enjoyable. We still have a small condo that needs to be updated but the hospital, insurance, funeral expenses, bank accounts, etc. were managed.
My thoughts surrounding the travel and work on the ground in Greece prompted this website and hope the information offered will assist everyone in related legal endeavors here and abroad.
